This list should have been made every year :)

I hardly know most of the products, and most of the ones I hate (eg Complete Warrior and Complete Divine) are older. I ended up voting for Complete Psionic, simply because I didn't like it much and I'm familiar with it.

There's a lot of good products that I recognize on this list. Some, like PH II, had parts I hated but still had lots of good stuff, too. I doubt I'll vote on all the rounds of this set.

Reserve feats are the most unbalanced addition to D&D 3x, ever.

I will not rest until that stinking pile of munchkin goo, Complete Mage, is off the island.

I see you cunningly left off the BEST products of the year, the Dungeon Tiles I&II

I was going to put them on, but decided they really belong with the miniatures products. It was a close call. The Fantastic Locations series was borderline as well, but their adventure content had me leave them in.

Note that I did miss one product that will be added the next round. I won't mention which one because no one else noticed it was missing (which means it probably isn't at the "best" or "worst" ends of the spectrum).

I was going to do something like this last year, but forgot. I was just going to do a straight poll, but decided this was the best way to get some real discussion about the non-extreme cases. Sure, the best and worst get a lot of press in the other threads, but what about the good but flawed products?

I'm intrigued. Should it be painfully obvious? :heh:

What I find interesting is the large number of votes for the PHB II. I suspect it's just people reacting to the general opinion that it's one of the best products of the year. They disagree so feel they have to vote for it as one of the worst. After all, there must be many other products here that deserve to be removed from "best products" list than one that has engendered such strong positive opinions.

Also, I think the reason Scourge of the Howling Horde hasn't gotten more votes is because few bought it. Any adventure that buries a large percentage of the text with a nearly impenetrable background should get some votes.
