I couldn't agree more. What hacks. Sheesh, a full 12 out of only 100 nominations actually went to Indie games. Heck, that's almost a full 1/8th.

Where do those swine get off....

Either I'm just out of the loop or the ENnies just aren't relevant to me anymore. I haven't seen nor heard of (other than from some mutterings on rpg.net) at least 90% of the stuff up for awards. This looked like more of an awards show for indie games to me. Meh...
The judges evaluate the products sent to them... and, this year, the indie products were pretty flipping fantastic. I don't think an overwhelming number of nominations went to indie publishers, but the ones that got nods deserved them.

Moreover, if we honored fewer indie games, people would be calling us out for lack of respect for the independent publishers in the industry.

And, all that said, I suggest you take a look into the products that were nominated. Seriously - they're all brilliant. :)

We missed an entry folks - everyone has to resubmit their vote. Brief explanation as to why follows.

In the database each entrant is stored as only a number. This is mainly because numbers are easier on computers than words. However, the reference from number back to entry is dependent on an XML form. If that form needs to be changed the numbers get knocked out of sync, hence a restart is needed. My apologies for the inconvenience.
