2008 Booth Volunteer Sign-Up

I just realized that I'm double-booked during my timeslot. So - take me out and, when I've worked out my (incredibly chaotic) schedule, I'll swing in and sign up.

As I finalize my plans for Gen Con and print things out I sure could use a simple description of the duties and expectations of the booth volunteers. I expect smiling, explaining the ENnies to interested folk, and documenting publisher product for the upcoming judges constitutes most of it but I would love to know for sure.

I've been assured that it's simple and that all we need to know will be provided to us, so I don't think it'll be more than what you describe. Xath or Archon can say more, but by all accounts it shouldn't be hard.

When and where do we get this green folder? I'm presuming at the Con itself, but do we just stop at the booth before our timeslot and read it, or what?

The folder will be at the booth. I'll let the first shift know to pass it on to later shifts. If you want to stop by before your time slot and check it out you can, I just ask that you not crowd the booth itself.
