This thread is for discussing what you are reading in 2026.

Why the duplicate thread?
1. It was requested. (I will assume in good faith, until it is proved otherwise)
2. I’m not in the habit of ignoring/blocking people.
3, I will unwatch this thread, so if you need to catch my attention, you’ll have to tag me.

I'm currently reading The Girls I've Been by Tess Sharpe. It's about a young girl who was raised by and used by a con woman before her older sister got her out of that environment and now she's in the middle of a bank robbery/hostage situation and to add to the complications, her ex boyfriend is there along with her girlfriend. The chapters alternate so far between when she was growing up and the present.

I've just taken the monumental step of starting Perry Rhodan. It is a trip that is basically impossible to finish, but I plan on reading here and there (on trips and such, not my basic reading which will still be other novels and books) and slowly making it through...at least the first few sets of books (in the hundreds somewhere, if not the thousands).

I have a stack of old Perry Rhodan Silberband hardbacks I’d like to get to eventually. Need a lot better German before I get there, though.
