Retriver has two modes of movement: planeshift (twice) to get closer to its quarry and walking using its 40ft speed. As you established in post #312 that the Retriever can get to the Wizard, there are only two possibilities: either Alfred lives within 10 minutes of walking of the Mighty Fortress, Temple of Gods, Private Sanctum (that's 100 rounds at 40ft, that's 4,000 ft or 1.2 kilometers) OR he needs to use planeshift and get lucky. Since you established that nobody knows about the HUN-HAT secluded fortress, it is unlikely this huge buildings are sitting at the immediate periphery of Alfred's village, within sighting distance from his terrace, along the road to Binky's town. So, the only way for the retriever to behave as you established and reach Alfred in 10 minutes is through planeshifting twice (he doesn't forget the quarry location when he changes planes, he must just be on the same plane to learn the target location). Besides, See invisibility doesn't "counter" the scrying spell. But even if it did, you established that the HUN-HAT behaviour will lead him to be delivered, incapacitated and with a retriever, to Alfred's smoking lounge. Alfred has no longer any use of the result of the scrying spell and will probably don't even bother to look into the expansive mirror used as an arcane focus for the spell.
