The difficulty with the current situation is that a) we have no information on what the OP wants to do with the latest incarnation to conquer the world as he doesn't even describe his domination plan. I can see how he "powers up" before a meaningful fight and it's true that he could probably act first on virtue of being impossible to detect and because most of the NPC we provided in our campaign setting (a location, several NPC with intertwining backstories, that's a campaign setting, if not totally full-fledged) are blissfully ignorant of his existence so far... But the only information we have was provided in post #606 saying that he got initiative (I'd say yes, by virtue of being the first to initiate the fact, he'll have the first turn, irrespective of initiative, even if he doesn't get surprise as it's DM-decided by RAW) and that his target "is dead without chance of reaction" (to quote @Hohige). So it implies some way to do a first strike, either alone or with his DMM and personal simulacrum, to remove the target in a single round in a way there is no possibility of retaliatory strike. Which might be possible but can't be assessed until he actually explains his "irresistible first round strategy" to kill his targets. If he just shows up and do a single attack with a club, for example, chances are that it wouldn't work and inflict enough damage to kill. There are too many possibilities for us to guess what is the strategy (and we can't decide for him, because it would remove his agency). b) in the current depiction, none of the NPC have any reason to go after him because he didn't do anything... Please at list do something that would warrent anyone to try and kill such an innocuous sorcerer. The laws of the Sword Coast are tough but I don't think loitering warrants the death penalty.
