sheesh... I find it harder and harder to watch scenes of Jack torturing some lowlife... especially where in the end it made no difference, since Jack found his clue by hunting down the phone chip...

I'm enjoying the show, but yeah, I am not a fan of the torture, even if it is a consistent and established part of Jack as a character.

The torture stuff doesn't really bother me. Not really for or against it. But I agree in that I thought it was funny that in the end the torture was for nothing.

In a way, it's a "positive" message - see guys, you don't actually need to torture. for solving your problems. Our hero does it, but it doesn't work. At best, it stills his anger and thirst for revenge. But that is obviously a bad motive.

But I prefer it if Jack is tortured. And resists. And overwhelms his torturers and kills them.
