Must have missed some damage on Leyra... you list her at 33.

I got 6 from the zombie and 5 from the cold. What have I missed? :)

Another 5 from the ongoing damage 5 (save end) caused by being hit by the zombie (it's distinct from the aura).

As I wrote, substracted them in advance for simplicity's sake. If an ally grant you a successful save before it's your turn to act, I will give you back the 5 hp.

So there are 5 ongoing damage from the melee attack AND 5 from the aura.

Ok, I see. I thought the 5 ongoing were the 5 from the aura. In that case the save wasn't so pointless maybe. :)

Garrick took your sdvice and used a daily ::.-(. It wouldn't have been too bad if IC hadn't given me 2 TWO 1s for my 2d4s. But at least he got rid of the Dire wolf even on a miss :heh: (at least I hope so) and blinded the nasty dwarf thingie.

Took a daily and an action point for Mirage. Rolled 3 1s on my attacks with my first blast, gah!

I was trying to figure out if the wizard class feature for the orb would let me leave the flaming blast in the centre of the first blast and have it burst again next round. Is that how it works? If so I'll use that next time I think of it.

[sblock=OOC for Erekose]I don't think you can extend your Scorching Burst.

The PHB says you can extend a power that ends at the end of your turn into ending at the end of your next turn. That confused me until I realised what it meant.

You cast a power in one turn - a power which has the words "until your next turn" in its description e.g Cloud of Daggers, Ray of Frost, Chill Strike.

Next turn as a free action you can use the orb to extend the power for one more round.

Scorching burst is instant - there is no mention in the power about "until the end of your turn.[/sblock]

@Mal: I see. Only remembered to have seen him at the same damage before my post, but if that was already including some future damage... yeah, I guess it would be quite helpful to mark the ongoing damage as "incoming" instead of already apply it. Thanks! :)

Of course, Leyra could also simply delay a bit to include that "incoming" damage in such a case. Will do that next time then. :D

I thought I read an errata or clarification somewhere that said, with a magic thrown weapon, you could hit all targets that require a burst/blast/multiple targets and don't need lots of daggers/javelins/etc.

It basically Captain-America style, bounces from enemy to enemy before reappearing in your hand. That, I imagine, is what Garrick was trying to do.

Let me see if I can find it.
