Seeing that Garrick did not recover from the dragon's last attack yet, Leyra hopes to speed up the process with her next attack on the huge flying beast.

Mirage backs away from the bearded devil feeling the pain of his hissing beard even as he draws from everything he has. Bolstering his powers with his own soul and summoning the might of his headband, Mirage sends a blood pulse targeting all the devils up stairs. The legionnaire falls, the cambion and bearded devil feel his pain!

The crit damage is fire because of your wand so I substracted 10 because of the Cambion's resistance. Still, an extra 6 point can't hurt (you)

Also, have you noticed that your wand grants you scorching burst as an at-will power? That means you can select something else for your two base at-will.

Mouthing a quick but heartfelt 'thank you' to his clerical companion Garrick darted out from behind the rostrum and hurled a deadly accurate shuriken at the badly wounded dragon. It thudded home with awesome force.

Then, with uncanny ability, Garrick melted back behind the pyramid

Thanks for the extra, the cambion was the main target because I need Kendrick's help against the Bearded Devil. So it rocks that I did 42 dmg to it. He should hopefully be able to take it out this round.

Regarding the wand, it only grants an encounter power. I still want him to have it at will so I've got both.[/sblock]
 


[sblock=Mirage]Ah yes, they copy pasted scorching burst as an at-will in the Flame Wand entry but then added a line saying that you could only use it as an encounter power.

I'm not impressed by that bit of editing. How hard can it be to give the power a red band and mark it as an encounter power directly in the description?

Also, I realized that as a CG bug, Kendrick's Ironarmband weren't factored in the damage. That's another 4 points of damage.

Kern is still up but I guess there is no reason not to run Kendrick right now.

The Cambion is shocked at the violence of Mirage's spell. Seizing the opportunity, Kendrick initiates an elaborabe series of feint and jabs that ends with his left sword buried almost to the hilt in the surprised Cambion. Bolstered by his success, he tears his weapon free in a shower of blood and hunts down the Bearded devil, attacking him from all sides and scoring blood. The devil suddenly seems worried, very worried.

Damn, miss by one. Hoped to kill the Cambion and shift to the Bearded Devil. Well:

Dragon has now been pulled to just one square above the PC's level to square E94,E95,D94,D95, it's in melee range. If kern wants a melee spot, there is one at F93 that he can get to by moving around the pedestal (cost 5 square of movements)
