This is the first episode of 24 that completely bored me. None of the new characters are working for me at all.

I spent a lot of the episode thinking, "You know, Jack's brother looks like he played a lot of D&D in high school"... and then at the end... wow, what a change in character....

If 24 was a regular series... most of that episode would have been left on the cutting room floor. DAMN the "Real time" format!

Anyways... I'm starting to bet that ruthlessness must be a dominate traite in the Bauer family... too bad Kim never possessed that traite (it would have made the first 3 seasons infinately better).

I was watching Heroes, trying to catch a minute between commercials. What happened at the end?

Gram turned on both Jack and their dad and ordered his henchmen to take them* out. The episode ended with Jack and Philip being loaded into a van.



* "Them" also included several (of the remaining) members of CTU's field ops team that Jack asked to be sent the place where Philip Bauer was at.

Remember last season when Graem was trying to keep the other bluetooth conspirators in line. He said something line, "Think of your families gentlemen. That's what I do." This season is putting that line in a whole new light.
