Thank you for posting this - this became a standard part of conversation amongst my friends when I was in high school for a while. Like the whole "Pardon me, but would you have any Grey Poupon?" and "Are those Bugle Boy Jeans you're wearing?" phenomenons.

Speaking of which, one of the funniest things that happened to me back then happened because of those. I was sitting at a stop light on Ocean Blvd at Myrtle Beach at 2 AM, and this carload of cute girls pulls up beside us on my (driver's) side. I look over and ask the Grey Poupon question, and the girl on the passenger side responds, "But of course. But, are those Bugle Boy Jeans you're wearing?" I'm momentarily at a loss, but my normally extremely introverted and girl-shy friend in my passenger seat leans over and asks, "Why? Do you want to BLOW the BUGLE?!"
