D&D 2E 2E Retro Clones Compatibility!

So the main two I know of, and seems to be the most popular , is Myths and Magic or For Gold and Glory

Myths is 2E but with the mechanicals quirks cleaned up and fixed/steamlined(such as Ascending AC instead of Descending and no THACO.)

FG&G is straight retro clone of 2E with all the main three important books combined. But it seems to include Descending and THACO (which "everybody" loves.)

My question is, can Myths and Magic be compatible with all the available 2E books out there, or is that only possible with For Gold and Glory?

Myth and Magic wasn't completed hence you kind of need other 2E books.

It's not that compatible with 2E but easy enough to wing it.

Sorta, a plus 4 bonus is kinda the same so if you have a kit that does that its more or less the same. Some abilities don't carry through though.

Gold and Glory not 109% sure. I have it but never sat down and compared it side by side as I have my 2E books for when I want to play 2E.
