2nd printing of Reviewed D&D corebooks ?

Revised, not reviewed, Shadowlord. :)

The MM2 and similar books will most likely not be revised, although some web-errata is very likely to appear that updates them to 3.5E.

If they sell well enough to warrant a reprinting, then WotC might revise them, but I doubt it - the costs most likely outweigh the benefit.

I'll go out on a limb here and say Monsters of Faerun will definitely not be revised. However, I expect a few monsters from it will be in the revised Monster Manual.

Cheers!

Sorry Shadowlord, this post does not address your question but a couple of the other points that have been raised in this thread.

Quasqueton, regarding your comment about errata in a second printing of the PsiHB, I bought a copy a couple of months ago and downloaded the errata soon after. I had no idea that I had, in fact, bought a second printing of the book until I went through it with the errata and discovered that they had all been included, so I can confirm that a corrected second print is out there.

As for others' speculation about a second print run of the DMG, my flatmate assures me that he has that very thing. Unfortunately, he lent his copy to another member of our gaming group, which means I can't compare it to my copy and the errata, until our group meets again on Monday. If there is any interest, I will post back to this thread then and let you know what I find.

The reason why PH have already gone into second printing is because of the three, it is the most essential core rulebook. Makes sense if you look at an average gaming group that has 4 players and 1 DM. The DM will be the one to own all three, while players need only one. That means 5 PH is sold, but only 1 of DMG and MM have been purchased.
Guess that means that my group's not normal. 6 players: 3 (including me) have all 3 books and then some, and the other 3 have none (although 1 lives with 1 of the first 3 and another 1 was the maid of honor at my wedding and lives 3 doors down from us).

PS. In this light, I think Lizards may have made a mistake by releasing D20 Modern as a single book; They could've probably made more money by separating the Player and Narrator sections.
I seriously doubt it. Their bean counters would have gone over the various options in great detail and I guarantee you that they picked the most profitable model.

They could but considering that all of the new rulebook (sans D&D) tend to be single core rulebook, they might as well stick to that trend, by providing the basic everything at an affordable price.

True. Almost forgot about that!!

It's a tie: Mr & Mrs Kevin Sembieda and Steve Jackson.

:D Thanks, Mr. REG!
