nothin

Nothing in St. Louis. Local game store is still saying they aren't gettin it until the 18th. Hell, by that time someone from overseas will have scanned the books in and I'll be able to download em'.

I don't think US was "nerfed".

In Australia the release date was pushed back three weeks.

I have been told by one source that the 1400 copies of the first printing destined for Australia have been rerouted to the US market. We will get the second run.

Another source says WotC Australia has them in their warehouse waiting for permission to sell.

I don't know which rumour is true, but both say we have been pushed back three weeks. :-(

Arawyn

My local FLGS's (all three) always have books (any WoTC) but will never will sell them, then they get mad when the chain stores (like Borders) sell them a week ahead of them.

Amazon has not yet shipped my order. I can still make changes to it, so they are not even preparing it for shipment yet. They still list a ship date of July 8.

I believe Dragon's Lair (in Austin) has an electric clock counting down to the release. If I'm not mistaken they have it set to release the 18th. They are having a midnight realease party whenever the clock is set to hit 0:00.

I don't know about Thor's Hammer though. They are fairly new, you might be able to convince them to sell early. :)

Thaumaturge.

I heard they decided to release the books like their miniatures. Some stores will get all Player's Handbooks, while others will get the "uncommon" DMG and some will get the "rare" MM.
A brown paper bag with a randomly packaged rulebook inside.

Don't listen to any amazon shipping Dates. I ordered a few books from there, and despite being told they wouldn't arrive till the 10th at the earliest I got them on 1st, only one day after placing the order, I still haven't been told that the package was shipped.
