3.5 Bard Details

I listened to Ed Stark's interview with Mortality net on Friday.

Here are the long awaited details on the new Bard class.

Base Attack Bonus like a Fighter.
Spells like a Sorceror.
Skills like a Rogue.
Can Heal like a Cleric.
All spells are verbal components only.
Can fight and sing or fight and cast spells at the same time.

April Fools!
Actually, Ed doesn't envision Bards as "fighting", so BAB wasn't improved. Instead, they are conceived of as knowledge and diplomats.

So Bardic Knowledge was improved. Songs were improved. Skill points were increased (probably to 6 points). Possibly there are some diplomacy/reaction increases.

New spells are on their spell list. They can now wear armor without interfering with their spells.
