Boingy! Boingy!
New job that ends May 14. Looking for permanent teacher position. Behind on writing. Daughter's ashthma. The depressing realization that my baby would've been born this month if not for the miscarriage. Et cetera, et cetera.

Trying to climb back into the saddle and get things going again by Friday.

Neurotic

I plan on living forever. Or die trying.
As long as you don't surrender it's all well. Regardless how hard it is, once you stop caring, you're gone. So here is something to relate to: (it's a Rudyard Kipling's poem):
IF

I found it comforting in my bad times (after the war, expatriated, without possessions and after father's death at 14 years old - bad times! - this is just for comparison so you don't think 'whaddayaknow') - and I still don't think it really compares to child loss :(

Wishing you all the best, Mark. I hope you get that permanent teacher's position. Just keep soldiering on and things may work themselves out, with enough persistence and determination. That's what keeps me going.
