3.5 orders shipped!

I just got the confirmation email that my 3.5 book order shipped from buy.com! Or actually 2/3ds of it (PHB and DMG, MM hasn't shipped yet).

*does happy dance*

I just got standard (ie, cheap) shipping, so I expect it will arrive on/about (or with my luck, after) July 18th. With the miracle of Internet tracking, I will be able to follow it every step of the way (details not up yet at UPS).

*cackles insanely*



Edit: buy.com dropped their prices on the books, too ... $17.97 right now. Darn, I could have saved another $2.67.

Dontcha love UPS tracking? When I have goodies coming UPS it's like a game to see exactly where they are. And when I am at work and find out my goods are at my house, I get excited and want to leave work early.

Huh, I got notified that my MM is shipping from bn.com, but not my PHb or DMG. Weird. Oh well, 3.5 here I come!

Mine to. They are leaving the FIGS today. But since standard (i.e. free) shipping is quite fast around here, the books will be here tomorrow or monday (tuesday at the very latest).

I just checked my order from Wal-Mart, and they all are shipping!!!

Should be between 7/16 and 7/22

and I almost gave up hope!

I was going to be a smart-alek and ask if all of you were waiting for kidney's or RPG books...

BUT, I do have a question...

Think that the early printings might have errors that the later ones will not?

My first pre-run MM had about six pages that there just the goblin section.. over and over and over.
My DMG had a bunch of upside down pages from the PHB...
And my PHB was missing a bunch of graphics....

Needless to say, I sent them back. My next copies didn't have any of those problems...

Think there will be the same kind of problems with 3.5, or do I just have bad luck?

Let me know how secure the covers are, and if they are the rare "pre-warped" versions like I was lucky enough to get with Urban Arcana....
