3.5 out in UK

A friend of mine just bought all three books in Reading.

Orcs Nest have been saying for weeks that the release date is the 11th July.

So why is the 18th being quoted as the release date? I can't believe that WotC is releasing a product in the UK a week early than in the US (it's often a month later).

Unfortunately I've got a full schedule of work this afternoon, so I'm not going to be able to even crack them open until later.

Now, to arrange some free time to read and absorb.

Okay - someone at Hasbro has seriously dropped the ball on distribution control.

Either it is a universal release date and you enforce it, or it isn't and release the vast majority of your retailers and consumers from an artificial straight jacket.

Is this at the Ork's Nest only or are other stores selling them?

The release date is the 18th. I find it hard to believe any retailer thinks otherwise at this point.

Anyway, I'm just keeping track so I have ammo to get the books release early next week.
