Do u have to have pre-ordered to get the books?

No. I did pre-order and collected them yesterday (Fri 11th), but they had them on the shelf for anyone to buy.

Orcs Nest has always said 11th was the release date, and it seems as if FLGS all over the UK started selling today.

Yep. Playin' Games said they'd be selling them as of yesterday (Fri 11th) as well.

A minor heads up in case it's of use to anyone reading: I checked with my nearest game store (in Worcester) yesterday evening. They had all three new books in stock and for sale.

A lot of shops already had them in store, but they're not supposed to sell them yet. Seem to have been a similar problem in the netherlands, where they were for sale for a short while, before they were withdrawn. A little messy.

Yep, a guy in my group got the books from the FLGS in Cambridge. I guess that for some weird reason that they just got released in the UK early.

I'm waiting for the SRDs though, so it doesn't help me
