12 hours overtime.

Sigh.

Bastards.

Think about it - next Gameday you'll be able to play 3.5. We'll just all have seen it first :)

One of our distributors is about an hour drive away. Our sales rep is personally bringing their preview copies to our gameday. This is with the blessing of WotC, as long as the books remain in his personal control at all times.

I'm guessing that would be Alliance Midwest out of Ft. Wayne, Indiana? I'll have to see if I can tempt someone from Alliance South. ;)

Thanks for the info!

No, Alliance Midwest is several hours away. My friends at Blackhawk Hobby Distributors are the ones helping us out. I've been dealing with Dan at Blackhawk for about 18 years.

Lol... Figures.

Here's a question for you though: Are you buying your revised books through Blackhawk or are you going to get them direct from WotC? I saw that you are a premiere WotC store so I know all about what that entails.

Just curious.

Both, and more. My largest supply is coming from Blackhawk, but I also have orders with WotC, Alliance Midwest, and ACD. I believe in covering all the bases in case there are shipping glitches.

That's cool. At least you're willing to spread your orders around. Alliance SW is pretty much the closest distributor to me. Beyond them I believe are all the distributors around you would be next.

I'm thinking that the further away you get shipping-wise, the more potential glitches there could be.

I'm curious as to how different distributors are going to handle boxing 3.5 book cases since WotC just ships cases as is with no double boxing.
Sorry, I'm rambling. ;)

:p

Well, I just console myself that all that weekend overtime will pay for an entire year's worth of RPG supplies. I'll just need to convince my wife that we need to make a trip to Ikea next month (which shouldn't be too hard), and that since Games Plus is sooooo close, we might might as well stop there too (which also shouldn't be hard)...

Assuming Curt doesn't runout of stock, I'll have them just in time for my birthday!
