3.5 Psionics?

Has there been any word on what 3.5 will do with psionics? Will they be in the PHB? I was considering picking up the Psi Handbook but it seems silly if there's going to be a new one in a couple of months.

I may be totaly misremembering but wasn't the campaign world that won the wizards contest psionic focussed to some degree. If so I'd suspect a psionics handbook 3.5 to come out roughly the same time as it.

I don't think that anything has been officially announced but I'm pretty sure that one of the designers has dropped hints that something was coming, possibly next year.

Notice the Psionics Handbook wasn't mentioned. Could this be because it is getting a full update? Its hard to believe that the new setting, which has been confirmed to as psionics heavy, will use a system that is not in the revision guide or otherwise updated for 3.5.

So yea, I'd say it is a safe bet. Remember the survey on their website?

...actually, it was never confirmed to be Psionics heavy, but most everyone jumped to that conclusion because of a poll that came up...*shrugs* It may well be, but there's been no official confirmation of it.

I'm sure they haven't confirmed it...but I'm just as sure they haven't denied it.

I'm nearly postive they said there would be psionics IN the camapign world, though I don't know if they said or implied it would be psionic heavy.
