D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 Psionics

Nice new info on the Wizards board about this. But I was wondering if anyone has heard what they did to psionic combat and defense modes? Are they just incorporated into powers now? Also, what did they do with displays for manifesting powers? Are they still in?

The Soul Knife as a new base class looks nice...

Attack modes deal normal damage as powers. For instance, Mind Blast is a power that deals 3d10 damage. This is just rumor though, I don't have any hard info.

They are powers now. Intellect Fortress and Psychic Crush are detailed on the WotC site in the XPH preview.

I hope this means we never have to deal with that horrid chart on how X attack deals with X defense mode ever again.
