Note, 2d3 is not statistically the same as 1d6. You wouldn't split the die size in half, you would roll damage normally, and then you would divide the results. Odd results would round in either direction, since normally you round damage down, but this is mearly splitting the damage.

No, roll your 2d6, add the results, add in any other bonuses such as Str, weapon enhancement bonus, the Bard's Inspire Courage, and the Cleric's Prayer spell. Once you have a total, divide that whole total in half. Add 4 to the fire half (due to the enchant). There, half is bludgeoning AND piercing, half +4 is fire.

That's it. Very simple.
