D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 Succubus Lichfiend Cr Madness

As noted by Dandu, a Succubus can become a Paladin of Honor. See D&D Fight Club: The Succubus Paladin.

One of my favorite combinations lately is the Ascetic Mage feat with a couple levels in Paladin. Divine Grace applies like normal, but thanks to Ascetic Mage if the character has Monk and Sorc levels, the character uses her Charisma instead of Wisdom for AC. Both saves AND AC out the wazoo.

Also: If you have a high-Charisma Cleric, Divine Metamagic becomes all the more powerful.

Looking at the PHB, the Paladin states the creature's alignment must be Lawful Good. Keyword is alignment. Type and subtype don't matter, and even though a creature's entry might say "Always (something)", that's mainly for flavor. A character has the option of changing alignments through sheer force of will.

Hmm...succubus is a spawn of abyss...its the definition of chaotic evil. The ocean will be wet no matter how much you heat it :p But maybe through strong magic you could somehow change it.

However it won't be much of a problem, if you have your own cosmology.

I was thinking paladin of slaughter from the beginning anyway- I want it to be evil. ;)
I think I will compare it to lilitu to check its power level, since I somehow judged them at the same CR...I just have to find the book now. lol.

The only problem with monk is that he needs to be lawful :p

Instead of Monk, one could repurpose the feat for a Swordsage or Ninja. Both get Wis to AC as the Monk, and neither have alignment restrictions. Depending on how one reads the feat, it only takes a Wis to AC feature to qualify for the benefit of using Charisma instead. It strongly implies the two classes must be Monk and Sorc, but the sentence itself doesn't specify either of those classes. Only Wis to AC.

And the entry given for the Succubus Paladin in the link said quite clearly it was through her own strength of will that she changed her alignment. While WotC has had its blunders, it is still worth mention that the build is fully endorsed by WotC.

But yeah, for an evil badass Succubus Lichfiend, the Paladin of Slaughter works just fine.
