D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5e Q] - Has Ice Storm changed

If anyone with the 3.5e PHB could answer - has ice storm changed? Does it now resemble the d20modern version with a distinct duration or does it remain the vaguely underpowered 4th level spell we know and love?

Changes:

DR4 (used to be 5)

Duration: 1 full round (used to be instantaneous)

More text in the spell's description (i'm comparing it with the reference docu, I've ditched my old PHB to the attic)

-4 penalty check to listening in the area of effect, all land movement is halved for the entire duration.

at the end the hail dissapears, leaving no aftereffects except the damage dealt...
