3.x Deathknight

First Post
I know that WOTC published a version of the Deathknight (or at least I think so) and I think that someother d20 publishers have as well; but for the life of me I can't remember what books they are in!

Does anyone know?

There's another version of the death knight in the Dragonlance campaign setting (possibly updated in the Bestiary of Krynn - not sure as I don't have that), and a third version in Necromancer Games' Tome of Horrors (where it is called the Demonic Knight).

The version we use in the DLCS (and subsequently used elsewhere, such as Lord Soth's stats in War of the Lance) differs from MM2's death knight in that the more powerful death knights gain spell-like abilities such as power words, and gain see invisibility at will. Death knights of Krynn may also create skeleton warriors (also included in the DLCS).

Tome of Horrors is still somewhat faithful to the original Fiend Folio death knight from 1st edition AD&D, but it's much more demonic in nature and their creator is given as Orcus, not Demogorgon.

Cheers,
Cam

Is the one in the MM2 the same as the one that was published in Dragon? I think it was issue #291/292. It was part of the LGJ, an amazing article I must say.
