3.x/OGL pdfs and printables; which ones? just got a big printer

First Post
So, I recently got an office level color inkjet printer, and ink for it is cheap. I want to print stuff; gaming stuff, specifically.

Fat Dragon Games and WorldWorks Games are on the top of the 'I'm almost definitely going to buy at least some of this' list. Is everyone satisfied with their stuff? Does it get used in play? Is it hard to put all the paper models together? Model storage? Pros and cons? Finally, where's a cheap place for bulk foam core?

I'm also looking at buying the Fiery Dragon counter collection cd, version 3. Seems like a no brainer to me.

Next up, PDFs. I'm not a pdf lover; i'm a book lover. So, any pdfs that i'll be purchasing will be to print out and use in book form. Some that i'm looking at very strongly are:
1. ptolus [will purchase and print in chunks, not all at once]
2. war of the burning sky 3.5 [also in chunks]
3. the judges guild maps

I'm loathe to pay more than twenty dollars for a pdf, unless it's for a really large page count book or collection of books [similar to ptolus and war of the burning sky].

TL;DR, Enworld, I ask thee:
1.What 3.x/OGL pdfs are so good, they should be printed out?
2.What 3.x/OGL books are so rare and/or ridiculously expensive, it'd be cheaper to buy the pdf and print it out?

Aside from your excellent list, I'd look at the 0one gaming products if I had your newfound resources. Give us details on this printer, please. :)
[sblock]Sure. It's an HP officejet 8000.
HP Officejet Pro 8000 Printer - A809a (CB092A) specifications - HP Small & Medium Business products

Ink cartridges that come with it state blue/red/yellow each last about 900 pages, and the black cartridge lasts about 1000 pages. the 'xl' cartridges offer 1400 pages color, 2200 pages black.

I tested this out by printing a roughly 300 page document [at the 'draft' setting]. end result? used up about 40% of the ink. So, the estimates are close.

I also printed out the nentir vale map that somebody here had made, and had it blown up so it's a 4 x 4 page map. printed on 'normal', not 'draft', and it looks frickin' sweet, dude![/sblock]
Thank you very much for the 0one games link. I had heard about their 'dungeon under the mountain' a while back. Completely forgot about them. Looks like great stuff. [adds to list].

Malhavoc Press stuff has gotten rare and pricey on Amazon.

Good stuff and designed for pdf so clean layout without tons of background ink-soaking color.

I'm partial to the Complete Book of Eldritch Might as an alt source of spells for $13.

Arcana Unearthed has great alt classes and magic system and is compatible with 3x (they collapse hide and move silent into a sneak skill and give an extra feat at level 1). $14

I like the paper counters by IDA, you get a bunch and they were super easy to cut, fold, and tape for use.

Complete Denizens by Inner Circle. $7.50 for a 277 page 3.5 full color monster book. If ink is cheap and you want exotic monsters go for it.

Alternatively there is Tome of Horrors 3.5 Revised A huge monster book with a ton of converted and new monsters. Originally in print for 3.0 this is the only 3.5 version and it is only $7.99

If color Ink is not an issue you might want to check out the AEG Warlords of the Accordlands pdfs as well. $15.96 each for full color huge books of neat stuff Monsters and Lairs, Master Codex, and Campaign Adventure. Each are at least 246 pages long, they are scans so cut and paste can be an issue for onscreen use but will not be a problem for printed out ones.

Scarred Lands Stuff: Scarred Lands setting books running $10 for the monster books and $5 for everything else, including 256 page continent campaign setting books. Relics and Rituals ones are $10 each (both Scarred Lands and others).

I don't have it yet but SORD comes highly recommended as a huge 3.5 time saver and organizational tool. $2.95

d20 Status Cards, from EN Publishing. Just buy some print-friendly sheets of card. . . say, 200gsm+? Or thereabouts, I can't quite remember. Whatever the printer will handle, I guess. And yeah, there are also the Buff Cards, if you think they'd be handy. Spell Cards also, I believe, though I haven't tried those.

Plus a bunch of the things already mentioned, of course.

Oh, and if you like psionics, there's Untapped Potential. Not sure if you can buy that in print anyway, though. If so, maybe there's not much point doing it yourself.

I'll see what else pops into my head, or I might even dig through the files and post a few more (noteworthy) titles. :)

Yes. I was able to pick up pretty much all the malhavoc I wanted in print in the last few months. Ptolus is really the only book I haven't been able to, due to price. Buying 'pt1', 'pt2', etc and printing each one out at a time is something I can do, though.

Huh; we apparently both have the same excellent taste in 3pp. I have all these in book form, except 'complete denizens' and 'tome of horrors 3.5 revised'.
I do have 'denizens of avandu' and the 3.0 version of 'tome of horrors' though.

I don't know who these people are, and googling didn't help me. Do you have more information or a link?

See? Just like 0one games, I forget about good stuff like this, until someone points it out. Thanks!

If you like steampunk at all, DEFINITELY check out the awesome Steam & Steel from ENPublishing. I also used "ENArsenal - Pistols" quite heavily in my steampunk'd Eberron game.

Actually, I'm a fan of the whole E.N. Arsenal series, except maybe the two-bladed sword one which is just too drow-heavy.

0One's blueprint & colourprint products are awesome. The Great City is particularly made of win.
