Pathfinder 1E 3 years and 18 levels later

Last night some of the party hit 18th level off a draw from the deck of many things. The whole premise of the game, set in my custom setting and using, mostly, the Pathfinder ruleset, has been a transition of the world to something new. When D&D Next was announced two years later it sort of fit in. The game is capping off a story line I've wanted to have a group to run with since I was a kid, and as a result it's had the kinds of way overpowered crap one would expect from such a game. The maximum damage off one attack sequence belongs to the ranger, at around 540. Last night saw the paladin get three crits for a final damage tally for the round of 290.

I think I'm going to let the game run out for three to five more sessions. I am curious to what kind of challenges others have thrown at 18th level parties in the middle of a save the world quest. (Note, the take on CR 22 encounters routinely because of the artifacts and last night's boss was CR 26).
