3 Years of Unearthed Arcana

The only things I have used in a game as written are traits.

I used a modified Reputation/Honor system in the game I'm currently running.

I would like to use the d6 variant.

When I make my own characters for fun, I almost always use variant classes and racial paragons.

Unearthed Arcana and the Dungeon Master's Guide 2 are probably my two favorite 3.5 books. I would like to use them more, but for now they are mostly great inspirational/reading material.

Hmmm.

I've used the Flaws a few times, the alternative rules for specialized casters, and the fractional BAB and saving throws.

I'm cool with Flaws - I like opening up another feat for my players. The alternative rules can be a bit powerful - I enjoyed playing a Conjurer who could summon as a Standard action instead of a full round, but it did feel like I was gaining a big advantage with it. On the other hand, it certainly encouraged me to summon like crazy.

The Fractional BAB/Saves was a bit fun to play with, but it got confusing at times and I had to keep re-checking my math. I like the idea in general, though.

Personally, I agree. Our casual gamer and our two dyslexic players have a harder time though.

Maybe borrowing the damage track used in the Sovereign Stone & Serenity RPGs (& I'm guessing in the forthcoming BSG RPG as well) would help.

Not you, Hong. Hong is being . . . childish . . . and rather vulgar.

Pee-pee may (possibly) be childish, but the whole point of that word is that it isn't vulgar.

Also, your assumption that we're all adults here is likely not true. In more ways than one.
