EN World has a thread on the messageboards which has had over 30,000 replies. Yes, you read that right - 30,000 replies to a single thread, spread over 760 pages.
Here are some of the other recent long threads on the site; many of these are merely the latest thread in a sequence, as we often close threads and start a new one for convenience's sake. For example, the Gary Gygax Q&A thread is the ninth in a series of similarly-sized threads. I haven't included the totals of previous threads in such cases, which would boost some of the numbers below by a factor of ten.
