1. I'm glad I grabbed this from Amazon when it was $20. I've read it a few times now and it's a very interesting, illuminating look at D&D.
2. Was anyone else annoyed by some of the date errors? At first I thought my memory was bad but when the Dragonlance section discussed Tracy Hickman being introduced to D&D in 1997 (after saying "In the fall of 1980 . . .") I started to question whether it was my memory or the book. (Another example is p. 283 where it says "In 2001 the toy giant Hasbro entered into negotiations to buy Wizards of the Coast." Maybe it's just me but didn't this happen in 1999?)
