These look like standard 1D top view maps. Really good maps, but not 3D. You may want to change the thread title to something a bit more accurate.

But that is a truly awesome gaming set-up. I bet those maps look awesome on that table display.

That 3d board you presented is actually really quite nice. I haven't seen one like it... Is this part of Wizards new system, some offshoot, or did I miss something?

Those are the screen shots from the originally planned 3D Virtual Table Top for DDI. They were released in the lead up to 4E, and some pictures were actually in the original core books DDI advertisements.

It ended up being vaporware...
