AAAAK

You said you modeled these with Rhino? If it's not an inappropriate question, where'd you gt Rhino? Everywhere I've seen it it's in the 300 to 400 dollar price range...

I got it through the university when I was working on my masters project. My dad has autocad, and I could've used that, but I found that Rhino 3d was a much better program when dealing with NURBs modeling.

Well here you go. I tried doing ornate scripts of some sort, and nothing worked sorry. Regardless, it should fit your other critera. Since you said longsword, I did it as such, the images you selected in Tetsubo's thread are more rapiers or sabres. Something I've not done yet and probably wont try for a while.

It looks good.

I got inspired to create the broadest broadsword I could imagine, the thing almost looks axe-like. Anyway here is a scene I created using it, since I created so many dwarf weapons I kept the dwarf theme going. I titled it 'Grabbing a Brew'

I got inspired by the traditional (at least one of them) viking swords. They didn't really have pointy ends, and were more for chopping than stabbing.

I was finishing off some 3d stuff I will be using for a webpage I'm trying to design. Anyway I created a sabre of sorts that I'm hoping to use as a "button" for my 3d weapons, and I was so please with the results I thought I'd share. So here goes!
