Lately I've been looking through the vast resources I have for 3e and deciding what I box up and what stays on the shelves. I know I'm going to give 4ed a try when it comes out and after the current M&M campaign comes to a close. And it's never too early to get a head start on a new game.
A few products that I think will make a good transition will be the Strange Places line of PDFs (and the print version of all five they had at Gen Con!!) by Dog Soul Publishing. While there are stats for things in the books they take a back seat to the creative ideas of the places and the bits of mystery those places incorporate. It's the kind of book that I think will be beneficial to the new game; one filled with creativity and good ideas and not dependent on the game rules and stats.
What other books do you plan on still using even after you start playing 4e?
