I know others have also been looking for this, but has anyone ended up doing it? I want to run it in 3e but there's no way I have the time to convert it all myself. Anyone?

I haven't converted it, but I have the original adventure. Just made me wonder... with 3e rules, PCs would rise about 20 levels during it. Which begs another question: is a proper conversion to 3e even doable, because of the massiveness of the original adventure?

Greyhawk ruins was meant to handle a huge range of levels of play, so it should translate pretty well. However, I would say that you need to raise the level of the starting characters to about 3rd or 4th, because some of the monsters converted to 3E are DARNED NASTY.

All told, I loved that module, because it was a classic dungeon crawl, and despite what many people said, (Gary included), it exuded the feel of castle greyhawk as told in so many of Gary's old classic stories of predicaments that his player's characters found themselves in.

converted parts of it. It's rather simple if you must do it. Just grab the SRD & PCGen and goto town. I copied and pasted most of the critters right into there..

I did some of it but it really was too time consuming. If I were to devote the time it would need to convert this module properly, my publishers would likely strangle me for not spending that time on my projects.

If anyone finds a conversion for this, I'd greatly appreciate tuning me in. :D
