Based on James Jacobs' reactions to the demon/devil changes, I could see Paizo leaning away from 4e.

I don't blame him.

Invalidates a great deal of his work and said, basically, "we're going in a different direction."

But as I said on their boards - if he wants to continue making stuff for the old cosmology, I'll buy it. :)

Those with time and resources may dual-stat products for a while.

I wish this were true, but many have said that dual-statting gets complainers from both systems that a great deal of the book is "wasted space".

Deja vu. I could have sworn I responded to this post before... Anyhoo, barring the rules for 4e being terrible (I have liked almost everything I've seen so far), we'll have at least 1 new book at Gencon next year. This time we'll most likely start with the Violet Dawn word book.

PDF versions with dual-statting would work.

What will be interesting to see is how the 4E OGL works with the 3rd edition one. I mean, will they allow a 4e product to also include 3e compatible material?

I dunno if my tiny Lion's Den imprint counts, but we'll be doing 4E stuff as long as C.A. and I keep having ideas we can't fit anywhere else. :)

(And, uh, assuming we can at least break even on the PDFs...)
The people demand a conversion of your monster books! And POD!

And the people also demand a puppy!

Well, this is what happens with work for hire. Comic writers go through this at least once a decade if they work for DC Comics.
