I love the setting. I really do. The books being put out for it are top quality and the editing is excellant.

Now for my gripe.

Would it damn kill them to put a scale on a map on ocassion!!!

Not a single map in any of the books has a single damn scale on it. Talk about stupid and annoying.

Hey, its the dread realm. They can change any time on an evil and sinister whim. I think it gives the DM freedom to expand or contract each dread territory according to his needs at the given time.

Yeah it would be nice to have a scale, is the whole realm the size of New Hampshire? I remember from the first boxed set figuring that was the approximate size, but things change after the conjunction and what not.

The worst scale difference was in the 2e Sri Raji module where the map showed the island as being 3 miles across. It contained three inhabited cities and a destroyed one. the description for the ruined city had jungle surrounding it for miles in every direction.

Its not that bad. 99 times of out 100 when you walk to the neighboring town it takes exactly the same amount of time.
