3e version of the Force Mage?

I've been looking for a 3e prestige class that does sort of the same thing as the old "spells and magic" force mage (basically a specialist wizard that specializes in force magic rather than a specific school).

I've taken a look at the Force Weaver in "Path of Magic" and while its cool and all it's egregiously overpowered, but other than that my searches haven't come up with much.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to look or am I stuck making something up myself?

I think you'd be better off making a spell list for a school of force and making a specialist, as with any other school. It doesn't make sense that you'd learn to specialise in force magic after learning other magic (as a PrC) any more than you would learn to specialise in abjuration as a PrC.

Ya, that's more or less the conclusion I've come to. Was just hoping someone had already done that for me =)
