I removed your link. If it's legal then how about you post where it's posted on their website instead.

Ummm, it is legal, it is posted on the S&W site and the Authors have sanctioned it, it has all the legal info in the document as well, I was mearly making it available to a wider audience, as I thought this was a RPG forum, I guess I was mis-informed on that. Oh and since it is my work, it is legal if I post it, weather you agree or not, maybe you should have downloaded a copy before jumping the gun.:p

Yes, it's completely legal for people to modify and post a complete house-ruled set of Swords & Wizardry rules, although I've asked FlyingCircus to put "House Rules" with the title, since this isn't an official third edition of the S&W Rules, it is a house-ruled version.

Thanks,
Matt Finch (author)

PS, Rel, thank you for noticing that there might have been a problem here, even though it's something we do actually allow with the S&W ruleset.

I meant no offense by removing the link. In fact I clicked on it and it takes one to this rather anonymous looking download page. There is nothing there to suggest that the file being downloaded is either benign or harmful. It might have been exactly as you represented it and it might have been a virus. I erred on the side of caution.

I hope you understand that most of what we moderators actually do to keep the site running is delete spam posts that are from people who just joined and have a very low post count, all of which (often short) posts have a link to something that our users probably don't need or which may be outright harmful. I'm very glad I was wrong in this case and I hope you enjoy your stay at ENWorld.
