4e is going to stir up how classes play so its only reasonable to assume that many people could find themsleves a month or two into a campaign and realise they're playing a charcter they really dont want to play.
Does 4e have a new way of tackling this or is the good old , Your charcter dies in a blaze or glory, before his ashes have cooled you find a new charcter has joined the party oddly enough at the exact same level as the charcter who just died. how convenient.
Long term this really isnt an issue since once everyone gets a feel for it you kinda know how classes you havent even played will play out.
But in the inital stages is 4e any different and if not how are you DM's going to be handeling such things ?
