I hadn't seen anyone else talking about this, and I don't think the Wizards site has it announced anywhere, so if this is old news, I apologize for the bandwidth waste.

Thanks for the 'heads up'!

I was hoping they'd put up a character record sheet so I wouldn't have to flatten my PHB on a photocopier, but didn't know they had. Now, I can print off the PDF and xerox that instead (permission is granted on the sheet).

That looks kind of thrown together, personally. I think I'll wait for the Mad Irishmen sheet. That is, if I had 4E.

That sheet is really annoying.

When I've played the pregen characters all I've cared about was

• Powers
• Hit points and surges
• Defenses
• Skills

Everything else, including the breakdown of defenses and attack numbers can go on the back of the sheet.

I guess they're expecting folks to use power cards, but I really, really, don't like that sheet.

I'm not real fond of the sheet myself (which is why I made my own). Of course, it's not the worst character sheet I've ever seen...

Hey, it has a place for you to scribble in a character portrait. Working as intended.

On the other hand, the link to the message boards under 'Community' still links to the previous editions section.
