4e Combat Playtest [FULL]

We'll sure try to do so! But YOU, Ata, have the power to make SURE that we do......

lol, just kidding. What would we learn from that?

I'm not sure about Battle Cry, but Brudd used Healing Word, a Cleric class feature power, so we can all spend a surge. At least I think that's what happened?

Victim: I'm not really sure about the official ruling about this, but I don't really care: to me, walls, terrain feature and similar thins only do damage once per round, just like auras. Otherwise certain effects and powers (like this one) get way too crazy.

Leif: Senara comes first in initiative order, so if Sharm wants to attack the Goristro, he will have to follow it.

You certainly can.

Now, in case someone was wondering, the second round is ready to play, maps and all.
So unless you want to take a pause in real time, we can start with it pretty much as soon this one's over with (which should be soon)
In the end I made the terrain much simpler than I had thought because it seems the encounter will be complicated enough as it is... but I guess it can be tricky in a way.

I have to say, I love the pace and momentum of this game. And I think that from now on, I'm just going to stick to KK-style PbP threads (when it comes to D&D 4.0).

I also like how there's no inane skill challenges being used as filler and that roleplaying is optional. Personally, I like to rp, but it's a pain getting stuck with a group where half likes to rp and the other half doesn't even want to bother. Unless everyone's on the same page, it usually ends up sucking.

As far as a pause in real time, I'm ready to keep going. Unless you need a break, Ata. Of all us, you deserve one the most. You're really good at keeping on top of things and keeping the game moving along. And this entire combat scenario has been a lot of fun.

Hehe, I figured that would happen. But I just couldn't resist trying finesse one in there. Yeah, Sharm will follow along.

And I second the kudos about your handling of the action! Bravo!
