D&D 4E 4E DM Screen

I thought I saw Scott Rouse post once that the new 4e screen was going to be very traditional, but after R&D saw the True 20 screen, they decided to go all out and really ramp up the awesomeness.

I'd just like to vent briefly and say that putting nothing art on the player side is kind of a dumb waste of real estate. I mean, after about 10 minutes I don't notice the artwork anymore. It's not like a length of cardboard (*) is going to create a sense of atmosphere for the game session.

(*) with all due apologies to the LARPers.

SSquirrel, Do you GM SLA Industries or play it ? I love that game, I ran it for years. I would like to run again , I have some real fond memories of play sessions getting really good after midnight, and we play into the early hours of the morning. =)

A friend ran it in college and he had a great style for the game, but he refused to let me read more than a bare minimum of the book. So when they re-released the game years later I scooped up the books :) I haven't played it in a decade, but I would love to play again. I don't DM anything very much, but if my friends were excited about the possibilities of a SLA game I might run. Heck if one of them read it and got all charged up and wanted to run it themselves, I can supply all the books at least, plus now the screen :)
