D&D 4E [4E] Dungeon Adventure List

That should be the Vault of Darom Madar, and yes, it is an adventure.

BD

Just read this adventure and wanted to give a shout out to Blackdirge for the work. Great job! One of the longer adventures in the publications as well. 34 pages of Dark Sun goodies.

My only comments are around the combats. I'd love to see a bit more interesting hazards or terrain features. Most of them are just some difficult terrain, which is fine, but a few more things going on would be a nice addition. After all, Athas is a brutal world, so it could even be a hazard for friend of foe alike. Also, there are two solo battles... not sure how that'll play out, but they seem decently challenging.

The latest and greatest is up. There was only 2 additions last month as Shrine of the Sea Demons was only an adventure site.

Dungeon 182 table of contents isn't up yet, but I hope we see more than 2 this month, especially as one was Chaos Scar and the other was Dark Sun, and it was 5th and 1st levels respectively. I'd love some higher heroic adventures at least.

Edit: Just a note as well I added a quick Pivot Table to give a count of adventure levels. There's 16 level 1 adventures or nearly 20% of the published ones...and 37 of levels 1-4, or 42.5%.

Ok so the ToC for 182 is up now.

1) Dungeon of Ghost Tower - level 2 - follow-up to the Red Box adventure
2) Vanguard Tower - level 4 - Chaos Scar
3) Wayward Wyrmling - level 4 - Chaos Scar (By Blackdirge again, congrats)

Hmm.... well, all three all below level 5 again... sigh

Yeah, we have billions of heroic tier adventures and basically nothing at paragon and especially at epic. I think the only real viable paragon/epic adventures are scales of war and the odd one shot.

I was looking for an adventure index and came across a bunch of outdated ones so I updated them all the way until the current issue. I'll try and keep it up to date as I often find this pretty useful. I still can't believe this isn't available on WoTC site.

It's available on the D&D Insider wiki page, kept updated by yours truly. The main adventure index is sorted by level with direct links to the adventures. There are other pages that group Forgotten Realms adventures and articles, Eberron, Dark Sun, Chaos Scar, Tears of Ioun, and Scales of War.

No there isn't an official one.

They are also Dungeon/Dragon articles/adventures grouped by campaign setting.

WoTC has published three (!) epic adventures outside the Scales of War AP. I figured at first they were waiting a couple of years for groups to hit epic levels, but they haven't changed anything in 2010 either.

It would be great if they adopted the Paizo Dungeon policy of one low level, one mid-level, and one high level adventure per issue.

Ah you mean the policy they original had when they went to a paid format, and still had when lots of people signed up for a one year subscription, but changed soon after, but never changed their advertising until I pointed out they weren't delievering what they had promised. :hmm:

I'd even be ok with 2 Heroic ones/issue and one Paragon/Epic alternating every other issue. It wouldn't be ideal, but at least it'd be way better than what the current offering is.
