Strictly speaking, downloading something from a torrent doesn't mean you're sharing with others who did not order copies. You can disable torrent uploads from your system. Wise people do this as a matter of course, whether they're using torrent illegally or not.

I got them aswell, however, since I'm respecting the Spanish private copy, I'm unable to share any information publically.

I'm waiting for my gift set to ship from amazon, so I don't have much troubles "morally".

Karma and pre-order or not, downloading the books still violates Copyright laws. Additionally, you can't even plea "fair use for backup purposes" because no one has technically bought the books.

Downloaders be beware. Wizards/Hasbro can send a DMCA to your ISP about downloading these if they want.

Guys, come on. We all know it's wrong to download the books. Yes, it's still wrong even if you buy hard copies. Do the people at WotC a favor and don't give in. Don't even try to rationalize it because you can't.

Ya I am still keeping my pre-order so no real harm done.

Plus my download got done, it is not a scan... they are the masters for the printing...

Sure scans online are inevitable, this would be shooting yourself in the foot.

It kind of makes me mad. I'm a good boy. I preordered. Why should I get them after the crooks?

I hate these virtue is its own punishment situations. Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

-No one WANTS to pay money when they can get stuff for free.
-However future "stuff" may be limited/lower quality unless you do.
