[4E] How exactly did DP "fix" the Paladin?

This is about how all classes are supposed to have two sides, where you can't be good at both halves of the powers available)

Except that most classes aren't likely that. The cleric, warlock, and paladin have multiple stats used for their attacks (also the ranger, but most ranger powers are Str/melee or Dex/ranged). But the fighter, rogue, warlord, wizard, and every class that WotC has put out after the original Player's Handbook has had one attack stat. They used secondary stats for rider effects and sometimes bonus damage. Now, that means my 15 Str / 10 Con / 20 Int swordmage is going to ignore most of the powers that have Con-based secondary effects, but if I decided the secondary effect didn't matter, I'd at least be able to hit.
