[4e] IG's Herald of Discord [RECRUITING CLOSED]

Just wanted to let you know that I changed my character around a little bit, I wanted to make him more dwarfy so I set him up with some more melee enabling stats. I'm pretty eager to see how it actually plays. :)

You can tweak your character all you want until we get started. I appreciate the heads up though, thanks.

Thanks for the initiative clarification, btw. I'd have done it wrong forever otherwise. ;)

Question!

There are several free pdfs available through WotC's site that relate to wizardry. One has new spells that fit an illusionist's theme. One has a list of new rituals. Are those allowable sources?

Secondly, is the Adventurer's Vault allowable for magic items, or PHB only?

I'd rather stick with the Players' Handbook for everything else.

Looks good as best I can tell, but I'm no expert in mulling over details. I generally like everyone to look over all the characters in the party in case one of us misses something.

I noticed that you put Level 3 (we're level 2), but it seems that all the rest of your numbers are based off of level 2... which is good. Less work to fix.

Also, I think your healing surge value should be 7, not 6.


I'll get the IC post up later today, if not in the next little bit or so.

I actually noticed a problem with my own character sheet - Clerics don't get military weapon proficiency by default, so I can't use a longsword without a feat. I'm dropping Action Surge for now to pick up WP: Bastard Sword.
