It seems fair to me to leave the place to my friend HollyMan, even his name is more appropiate! Thanks for the PM though, see you around. If there's another spot open let me know.

Thanks VV, he must know how excited I am about playing O'Beth. :) I will work on him right away and send in his crunch and read the wiki and see about a background before my two days off are up. Then let fate decide.

It's about time to start doling out some treasure. Be sure you have a wish list in your character sheet, otherwise you're leaving it up to me to decide. I must warn you, I'm not as good at picking treasure as others (r1) are.

I threw a few ideas out there, but really anything you see that has effects involving beast forms would be keen. I don't really have a lot of preconceptions right now about Aridha's future, so I'm not building her with specific things in mind.

IG (or anyone who knows these 4e rules I guess): I have been reluctant to shoot into melee because in old rules if you missed then you could hit your own party member. I am not seeing much about any of this in 4e. I have light blade weapons but all are thrown and the other special attacks can use HXB or sling too but essentially all ranged. So if I wanted to make a piercing strike against an opponent who is adjacent and fighting one of our fighters then whats the odds of hitting him or has that gone away now. I cant find the info in the PH. I could use the ole sneak attack with combat advantage which seems to occur mostly when we have another fighter flanking but again it requires shooting into that melee cos I don't have a light blade melee wpn. So if I can shoot into melee "safely" then I don't need a rapier.

You can shoot into melee without penalty, no need for Precise Shot (3e) feat or anything. You also can't accidentally hit your allies. They are no impediment to your PC. I believe there is a feat for dwarf rogues that let's you use Sneak Attack with axes, but give up 1dx of sneak attack damage. If you're interested, I can take a look.

Oh, IG, I'm good with anything as well. Magic weapon or armor are always appreciated, but whatever works.

Thanks - expect me to be a bit more combat effective then ! This is a really big change for my character then.

IG: Scratch the rapier then. I'll try this ranged attack thing and see how it goes. I'll have to have a think tho a ring of fire resistance would be quite useful ;)
