D&D 4E 4e-like games?

So, for those of us who don't think Next offers much to 4e players... besides continuing to play 4e (which is the default option), what alternative games offer the combination of story and roleplay with significantly tactical fights?

Edit: I should have also said that relative simplicity is highly valued.

I don't think 4e, or anything close to it, is even relatively simple. I would say that 4e is among the most complicated games out there. So I'm not sure anything really fits your (edited) request. That being said, HERO can be very tactical, and so is GURPS.

I haven't found any replacements for 4e, but I have several games I like to play alongside it.

4e is pretty unique in the marketplace.

Well, for what it does I find 4e relatively easy to understand. Every time I look at character creation in pathfinder it makes my head hurt. So it may be subjective.

The simplest of all games (rules wise), has to be the West End Games StarWars. You can learn the basic system in about 5 minutes, and master it within a single session. Character creation is about 2-5 minutes. Yeah, that's it.
It is not necessarily heavy on tactics unless you want it to be. Most of the books can be found for cheap on eBay. Hard system to munchkin. If you want a break from heavy prep, complex rules, and over-powered characters, this is a good game for you. (I do recommend some house rules... but that's another matter.)

From what I gather, 13th Age is your best bet. I get the impression that it's like 4e, but unconstrained by the need to be "The Proper D&D" (while remaining firmly D&D-like).

13th Age has some 4e conceits build in, especially player narrative positioning (backgrounds as skills, say "Yes")

Id take a look at Fate and Core also from a narrative standpoint with good empowering rules for players.

Apart from that , no reason to stop playing 4e

Yeah, I would recommend Savage Worlds, Fate Core, and Dungeon World in general. They're great games. But they don't scratch exactly the same itches as 4e.
