D&D 4E 4E & Origins 2008

What does the intended release dates for 4E mean for Origins 2008?

I assume that by the time Gen Con rolls around, 4E will be out and in peoples' hands, but it doesn't look like the same will be true for Origins. How will this affect Origins 2008, if at all? I understand that D&D isn't as big a part of Origins as it is for Gen Con, but based on my experience, D&D still brings people to Origins, and I have to wonder what effect 4E will have this year on attendance.

From what I have heard from the RPGA, both the Living Greyhawk finale and the Xendrik Expeditions Finale will premier at Origins.

I didn't know RPGA still went to Origins.

The last time I was there (2006) they did not seem to have a presence there.

I'm a miniatures guy - so they were probably there and I missed them.

I will say I think Origins is a great con to go and play a lot of games at - everybody is there to play instead of shop and watch. Not that there is anything wrong with the latter at all.
